Mr. Rainer owns and is the Managing Director of three law firms:

Rainer & Rainer, P.C. maintains a case load of approximately 200 complex civil litigation matters with an emphasis on lead paint poisoning litigation.

Robert K. Rainer, P.C. maintains a case load of approximately 1,100 personal injury cases with an emphasis on claims administration, advertising and marketing.

Rainer, Walsh & O'Connor, LLP maintains a case load of approximately 700 civil cases including; motor vehicle accidents, medical and legal malpractice, discrimination, sexual harassment, police misconduct, general liability, workers' compensation and torts of urban injustice.

Mr. Rainer's practices have been nationally recognized for innovative legal work in the area of lead poisoning litigation. Several of his cases have been the subject of front page articles in news journals such as the Wall Street Journal, Atlantic Monthly, Massachusetts Lawyer Weekly, and the Boston Globe.
In February of 1998, in conjunction with the celebration of their twenty fifth anniversary, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly named Mr. Rainer as one of the twenty five most influential lawyers of the past twenty five years.
